Re: The Pit Thread
Remove it.
Why?
1. Camping
2. Bad map design and flow

We have been in talks over phasing it out by v2-v3.
We just wanted to stick more closely to MLG's v6 because:
-We didn't want to alienate anyone.
-We wanted this to be principally about the community's input.
So later on, we will be having a vote over the Pit

Re: The Pit Thread
I have no preference for or against the Pit but i would like to point out
In halo3 when MLG TS on the pit was played the largest margin of victory occurred out of any TS game. This MAY be a representation of the skill gap on this map. So you could look at Pit TS as slow but very skillful. The pit had the largest amount of weapon/skill mastery of any map. So we should also regard this. PLaying fast is important but we need to watch the extremes. The Pit maybe slow but it was also the most suspenseful map in all of MLG.

This is a very good point, but on these settings (4sk, no-sprint) we will see a Pit that is actually significantly slower than it was in Halo 3. The map would need some serious changes to make this no longer the case.
I think after the first 29-30 Pit TS that finishes at the time limit MLG will be forced to take it out.

Re: The Pit Thread
If you guys are going to keep The Pit, I think you should add camo at long hall or something. The standoffs are just so bad in that map

Everybody's been asking for camo at long hall. and OS at under sword.
